Frequently Asked Questions
Are dashboard credits and API credits the same?
No. They're separate balances. Dashboard credits are used when you generate from the web app. API credits are used for programmatic calls via /api/v1/*. This keeps billing independent.
Do credits expire?
Credits expire 30 days after purchase, and a fresh batch arrives with every renewal. Free signup credits are valid for 1 month. Spending always uses the credits closest to expiring first, so nothing you paid for lapses while other credits sit unused. Bonus credits from support never expire.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes, anytime from Settings → Billing. Upgrades take effect immediately and Stripe prorates the difference. Cancelling keeps your plan active until the end of the period you've already paid for — there's no lock-in and no cancellation fee.
What does “up to N videos” mean?
Each plan is a pool of credits, and different ads cost different amounts. The headline number is how many 15-second ads the pool covers — 15s is the shortest ad we produce and the best-converting length. Longer ads and b-roll cutaways cost more. You always see the exact price of an ad before it's generated.
What happens if generation fails?
Credits are refunded automatically if a video generation fails. You only pay for successful completions.
How many videos can I make at once?
Depends on your plan — Free: 1 at a time, Starter: 1, Growth: 2, Pro: 3 concurrent generations. API concurrency and rate limits come from your subscription, not from which API credit package you buy: a Pro subscription allows 2 concurrent API generations at 120 requests/min. API packages only add credits.
